Whole Mind Functional Psychiatry

Whole Mind Functional Psychiatry is a Functional/Integrative Psychiatry practice serving clients in New Hampshire either in-person or via telehealth. Whole Mind was founded on the belief that mental health and healing is wholistic in nature. In order to heal the mind, we have to dig a little deeper to reveal the root of the problem. Many times our medical system is quick to address issues without looking at what the root cause may be. We will work together using traditional psychiatry along with various evidence-based alternative therapies to treat the mind, body, and spirit. At Whole Mind there is more than one option for you. A traditional psychiatry approach based on medication management and supportive therapy is one option. I also provide functional psychiatry where we will take a deeper look into gut health, diet, stress, sleep, hormones, environment, supplementation,and genetics. My name is Karissa and I have been in the nursing field for over 20 years. While I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan, I have a special interest in working with pre-teens, teens, and young adults. . When I am not collaborating with you toward your treatment goals, I enjoy spending time with my 3 daughters, skiing, hiking, and caring for my farm.
